So really, it doesn't do anything... Except take up 1.5" of space.

Really it is an acquired taste. Most race seats are mounted very low. Once you get used to driving in that position you really like it. Not to mention it gives you more clearance for your helmet, and your knees.

You can come sit in my car if you really want Zach boy.

I thought it was to help with perfecting Teh Sloutch driving technique.

Anybody showing up for the AMA Superbike Event this weekend?

$100.
You should bring the car by Cobb so I can check out those brackets

Seriously, though, I'd like to see how the seating position is.

I could swing by. The brackets I made for me have a little clearance issue with my harness eyelet and only allow the seat to go a certain distance forward. So you might be kinda far away from the pedals, I'm 6'1 and it works sweet... but you can try it fo_sho.

We ... the cool S2000 guys ... are getting together for a group drive this Sat morning. Do any of you want to join us?

Most likely plan:
- Meet at Star Bucks off Foothill Drive at 8:00 AM
- Drive up Emmigration, up through East Canyon and down through Parleys
- Brunch at the Porcupine Grill or some other place

Hope you guys can make it ... I'd even like to see the small pee pee, whacky-hair dude make it out.

Cool! Details and links are on the URSCCA site or on the IR PCA site. Up to you to get it done ... I'll cover the entry fee if there's a spot left.

SCCA is also planning an HPDE event later in July. Looks like that will most likely be a Fri and Sat. Details are on the URSCCA site as well. See if you can get those days off. It looks like that was is going to be a cheap event ($200 for two days).

I know, Scott told me about it. That sucks huh. Funny enough we're
