Oh it was pretty bad. I was there when he go back. Hydroplaned on the freeway in his truck, jack-knifed the trailer and whipped around, the straps broke and it launched the car *** end first right off the side of the freeway. Ripped off the whole rear end, damaged quite a bit of his engine, not to mention the body was destroyed, front to back. He told me the only reason it didn't flip and tumble is because of how low it was. If I remember right that widebody gives him an extra six inches in width, compared to how it used to be.
^^ funny thing about that too, I work just up the street from Garff downtown and haven't seen one X there on the lot. I bought my VIII there in 04 and they have done all my service so I'm there periodically. They must be selling them as soon as they get them.
That's a different wreck then I heard about. This one was in his NSX. He goosed the throttle or something (again second hand info) and hopped a curb? Minor stuff. Wrecking it like that on the highway would be scary.
In a covered parking garage... And last I was at Ken Garff they had 3, one inside, and two blended in in the very middle of all the cars. Hey UT Evo, how are you liking the Carrera? My neighbors across the street each have one. One is the silver Carrera (prob similar to yours) the other is an 01 turbo (speed yellow). Both are hot cars.

I saw one too last weekend in midvale. Had orange interior too. It was sick
my friends dad has a grey r8 w/ cf sides and black wheels ill post pics its way sick, also my neighbor has an enzo, carrera gt and ford gt and f430 its amazing

he took me for like an hour ride in his enzo while smoking a huge cuban cigar, we went up toward wyoming and through roads w/ speed limit posted at 55, we were going like 135 and the car felt completely flat
I used to see that red one all the time at school. There is another yellow one that parks on the south side of the campus back by the construction trades building, i see everytime i leave class. I also see a silver one at TRT Technology by my work ( just off of redwood and 2200 south)
Not nearly as fast as the Evo though, but it does speed with a certain finesse, style, jois de vivre, etc while the Evo just kinda hammered through it.
I'll always be an Evo owner at heart though, someday I'd like to (depending on how the future goes) pick up a salvage title Evo for the track. And if I could've I would've kept my old one. Plus, like I said, almost all the Porsche owners are asshats, hence hanging out on EvoM still

Wes that 1000hp NSX down there was sooo sick. I saw it when I was down there for Hot Import Nights.
First of all Joes NSX wide Body is only 4 inches wider He got the JCT 300 not the JTC 500 wide body kit I think. and If you would like to see pics of the damage and what it looks like now I have them on my my space.
