Utah Evos
I think it is. Alot of over the top of the glasses, look down your noses people down here. Don't get me wrong, there are alot of nice people down here too, but I'd say stay north of Salt Lake. Ever since I moved back down here I've been nothing but home-sick to move back up there. IMO the atmosphere up there seems alot less judgy!
Now now, We don't want to offend any of our Utah brothren by makin a derogatory religious statement.
Whatever anyones practice is, is besides the point. It's plain and simple, in Utah county, you will run into more judgemental people than in Salt Lake and Davis counties. My wife works with several people of this type. I've lived in both places for many years, and I'd much rather raise a family up north. Just my 2 shillings!

Hey Im new, well i've been a member, but i've never posted anything, but, im actually erickponce's brother and i'll be rollin out there with him too, we're actually driving all the way from laramie Wyoming tomorrow after class so im hoping this will be one bad *** meet haha, well im looking forward to seeing everyone on saturday, and im way stoked by the way lol

Okay, I had a bunch typed, but it was dumb, in short: I have nothing against LDS people at all, or even the religion. Just against the way some of the people down there (namely most of the BYU students I ran into/hung out with) practice it, and preach it. If I offended anyone, don't be offended, clearly no one on here is that type of LDS person.
I still know you need a tune!!! Go throw up Evan, it makes you feel better when you're sick

Haha, Utah Mormons. Good one Jeremy, are you comin to the bbq? You can park in the "ex-Evo" crowd with me! That attitude is definitely more prevalent in Utah than out of state/out of country (that's right, I've met a few European, Mexican, and even some African LDS follks) are all awesome and definitely don't try to push anything on you.

I did sell my Accord though, and bought a 2001 Subaru 2.5 RS. When I lived in Nebraska the attitude of other LDS members was so different as most of them are converts to the church and not born and raised LDS. The attitude that some give off does not help the church in any way, so that is why I do not force my religion on anyone. Most people probably would not even know that I was LDS (unless they asked my why i do not attend Sunday autox and track events).
I call them Utahrds. Seems to fit nice. You just have to find people in Utah county (LDS or non-LDS) that you get along with. Everyone else with the heads up their butts can just leave them there. They don't bother me.
And Jake I know what you mean about the BYU students. I'm there 3 times a week for classes (getting my masters) and want to kick 90% of the students in the *****. (the other 10% are cool)

Ya im hoping so too, i believe the roads just opened up actually so me and my bro will probably start driving around 5ish and ya its gonna be an extremely long drive for a bbq haha, but im sure it will be worth it, that and i get to get out of laramie for the weekend lol
Just because I own an EVO VIII (thanks bullfrg for that clutch, haven't needed it yet, but getting close 40k on the clock with the orig. w00t!) I'm automatically labeled as a rebel and menace.
Couple that with a Triumph Sport Touring bike (Tiger) and a dirt bike, and I'm the next devil in the making. However it does help me filter out the social nitwits a lot faster than before, which ultimately makes finding true friends faster and easier.
