I went to Corral Canyon today, then hit Latigo Canyon. Corral was great and there is an awesome view at the top, but it is kind of short. I got on Latigo towards dusk and ended up running out of sunlight, but that one is the best in my mind. The Evo was on rails the whole time and my g/f was clutching the seat screaming to slow down...best roads I've found yet!

Turnbull Canyon (is this the right name, Will?)
Anybody wanna take me to try out some other canyons in the Orange County area?
Irvine, Brea, Yorba Linda, etc...

Man, you guys woke this thread from the dead I didn't like Latigo that much in my trans am or Camaro. Maybe with the lighter car and drifting ability, the Evo would like the sharp corners more than the heavy V8s.

i like Mulholland.
But the best ever that i've found were random roads between Temecula and Hemet... Middle of nowhere and fun, fun roads. No cars to worry about when you go far enough out too.

Ortega rocks !!!!! when its empty. also Dominigoni Parkway between winchester and san jacinto. imagine.. a 4 lane superhighway that is totally desolate at certain times, brand new so theres no debris and destroyed surfaces, and it devoid of cops, and looonngg sweeping arches for those top speed tests..

also note the water tower to the left right past 79 that was "were they stashed the civics" in F&F 1

May I suggest editing that a bit? Law enforcement people sometimes browse these boards, and telling them exactly when to come looking might get you a ticket. Although I might come looking along that road some time to see if I could watch you guys blow by

Thats a good idea but there is no place for them to hide on either las flores latigo or piuma. I blew by a chp on piuma doing about 75 during the day a little while ago and I was supprised he didnt go after me.

Probably because he knew the squad car would fall off a cliff trying to catch up.
