WORKS High-Flow Air Filter
just got mine installed tonight.
there was no change in the sound of turbo spool and cant hear the stock BOV either.
however damn the throttle is a lot smoother....e.g. when under 2000rpm and i stab the throttle the car use to buckle like crazy, but now it's a lot smoother. i can make every upshift butter smooth without even thinking about it.
1st and 2nd gear are noticeably more urgent and running the rpm from 3500 to redline is also smoother.
basically i felt a bit of power gain, much smoother throttle response in every gear under or around 2000rpm.
a side note: when putting the air box cover back on, remember to PRESS ON THE BOTTOM HALVES OF THE CLIPS (the part that bends a bit) SO THE CLIPS COULD BE STRAIGHTENED OUT AND CLIP ON THE COVER EASILY. without doing this it will take forever to put the cover back on.

just to add a point about my improved mileage: i usually get around 21 MPG if i drive pretty hard (e.g. boost on every on-ramp, random downshifts to accelerate a to the speed limit) - this is usually 50% local and 50% highway.
last tank i drove a lot harder than usual but ended up with 23 MPG! i did most of last tank on local too (75% local and 15% highway) that is a huge improvement for me. i will try to drive more normally the next few tanks and see just how much improvement the filter made.
