I have read some bad posts about aftermarket filters and their lack of filtration. How well does this filter keep unwanted particles out of your engine?

Filters and cleaning kits are in stock and shipping

As far as filtration, WORKS uses a cotton fabric as the primary media for capturing particulates. The fabric is superior than the more common cotton gauze in that its openings are consistent and regular in shape. (Gauze has irregular-sized openings--some small, others large.) The light coating of oil helps capture the smallest particulates.

The WORKS filters are ready to go out of the box. You won't need to do anything until the first service interval

when would the first service interval be? Its been raining nonstop here so I figured when then rain dies down I'll use the cleaning kit.

It will vary with driving conditions. I would check it with each oil change. If it seems excessively dirty and/or the blue tint of the oil has faded, it may be due for a service.

a dyno probably won't make a difference. You would have to be out on the road..
Going a certain mph on the street is differnent than stationary on a dyno
