Question

All,

I'm new to tunes, I live in Northern CA, once you tune, can you pass SMOG? My concerns are 2 fold about mods, void manf. warranty and passing SMOG.

Thanks,
PCW

If you run a P2 reflash, emissions will be cleaner than stock.

WORKS p2 flash

With the WORKS P2 flash unlike other piggybacks, your factory warranty is maintained and your stock look is intact. As a result several dealers in the bay area, namely San Rafael, Davis & Veracom have serviced our customer vehicles and approve of our ECU flash upgrade.

In addition, as Jan said earlier, you will have no adverse emission issues.

Let me know if I can help you with any other questions or issues.

Sincerely, Kirk@WORKS

Thanks Kirk. Another question, What would be your guess on HP improvment with a P2, HFC and a stealth muff? I'm trying to decide if that above mentioned set-up would be worth it or to go with a WORKS TR-340 Performance Package. Will you have a SMOG problem with the WORKS TR-340 Performance Package? I will not be racing, but like knowing the power is there if needed.

Thanks again,

PCW

We've had the TR-340 smogged and it came out clean... cleaner than stock P2 w/ the HFC and SealthWORKS Muffler should bump you up around 300HP depending on the model year.

That's a tough question. How much is to much HP. I'm looking for something more than stock, but not off the hook crazy. I'm thinking of a P2, HFC and a muff to start and see If I need more.

P2 flash and Works AB muffler is where I started, and those gave me a nice bump! That would be a good start.

Looks like you're in sacto like me. If you want a ride in a tr340 car, I'm sure we can work something out!

David,

That would be great. I would appreciate it. It would give me a much better idea of power output. I went to the automall this past weekend and was told another month for the lX. Do you know which dealer has the best service department in the area? PM me and we exchange contact info.

Thanks again,
Craig
