P2 Impression and 20G Turbo Upgrade Compatibility

Frist of all, thank you for the great service and willingness to solve problems from Oliver.

I have to give a brief review on the new power dynamic of the my 03 EVO (w/ FULL TBE stock CAT) in one word-SMOOTH! Works smooth out the entire power band even during normal driving and even the turbo is not spooling up (light throttle driving)! It’s more willing to take off from traffic and does not require as much boost as before. The car feels REBORN and it’s super energetic all the way through RED LINE-the true boost control!

Compare to my friends w/ similar set up but he option for SAFC and EBC, his car seems to have harder KICK (works is strong but smoother) above 5K RPM but there is NO COMPARISON w/ the mid and low WORKS flash. For fuel economy, I have to agree w/ most claim that it does improve about 5% +/- (about 10 miles more) for 70% free way with a few WOT fun.

For someone who wants trouble FREE and PROMISING tuning, I highly recommend it!

QUESTIONS for my future upgrade:

I am looking forward to upgrade a 20G w/ 20.5 hotside and turbo outlet.
I would like to know which type of 20G does works support?

Thanks for the advice.

K

I can saftely say, so long as the parts on your car fit. Pete and his boys at Works can make pretty much anything you can come up with work right.

We've done tuning with 20G turbos with local customers and can get you taken care of on the flash if you decide to swap it out. WORKS also stocks and has software available for Forced Peformance's White Rabbit turbo.
