My WORKS EVO is done

So, there is no failsafe for low water to prevent damage to the WI motor?
BLKEVO8,
Would u say u gained noticable fuel milage from the WI?

What WORKS told me is that they pulling no timing out of the top end so in theory you are getting more power that way. As far as gas mileage maybe a little but to be real when you slam your gas pedal to the floor I think mileage is pretty much out. As far as low water Aquamist does sell a add on for that if your really concearned. It is misting the water no pouring it in I really do not think the low water issue is that a big deal just check it every other fill up thats all, along with your oil.
The WORKS WI Kit has a special P2 flash.
There IS a failsafe if you run out of water
Water Injection does not necessarily make more power. It does however allow you to make more power through a more aggressive tune. When you start getting in to BIG upgrades, like our soon to be released turbo kit... then you will really see the huge advantage.
Water Injection is also good for consistent power. Ever notice how the Evo (and pretty much any car) will run better or worse depending on ambient air temperature and humidity? On a cold, dry night engines make more power and have noticeably better throttle response! The water injection gives you that "optimization" all the time. More consistent and smooth power with better throttle response are just some of the other benefits of the WORKS Water Injection System.

Awsome, you guys sold me. I'm gonna have to get that WI for this summer. I don't think i can deal with the 90+ degree humid temperatures after feeling what the cold winter air did to my baby.
