Power Steering DIY?

The past couple times I've taken my car for recalls, the dealer keeps saying I require a power steering flush, I try to DIY almost everything to save some money, is this possible or is it something they need to do?

Uhm, check the scheduled maintenance in the owners manual.
WHA?? No scheduled power steering flush?!

Because you won't need one unless the system is trashed by a failed pump or rack.
Just check the level like it says.

Avoid that dealership. Next they will ask if you want your blinker fluid changed... [rolls eyes]
