Visiting the 1/4 mile for the 1st time this weekend...

Ran today. Only ran 3 times. The one decent run I had, the car did something weird in 3rd gear which you can hear/see in the video. It bogged real bad then picked back up for a second. Idk what it is? Plugs maybe? Any input on that would be awesome.
Other than that, I had fun. The pass I mentioned above was a 12.74 @ 112.8mph. I really think if it wouldn't have bogged it could have been a 12.2-12.3 @ 117 or so maybe?

I just watched your video , what rpm did you leave at? It seems like you can leave the line a bit harder which will knock your times down as long as your clutch is up to it. I think your car which is about a 400 whp /400 wtrq should run quicker, with more practice you will hit 11's at your power level BTW nice wheels are those Work wheels?

so without the 3rd gear issue, a 1.8 60', and good shifting... ~11.8-11.9 @ 117 or so? Is that decent for a stock turbo e85 272 cam full weight Evo?

i think i left around 3500 or so. I am still on the stock clutch / drivetrain so didn't want to test the limits. Once i at least get a clutch in the car i will definitely go back and launch it a bit harder.

Yes upgrade your clutch, but don't worry about your stock drivetrain launching. It can take it at your power level. You need to be launching your car at 5k+. Don't worry about ET at the moment. Your trap speed is dependent on a lot of factors...weight being one of them. If you're full interior stock weight 117mph sounds about right for 400/400
and yeah, full ssl interior. only thing i've removed was the spare tire
