Knock sensor ohms reading

I have had some trouble with the knock sensor in my car getting set off for quite some time now. I have gone though everything that could have set it off and nothing has changed. Now I'm wondering if it's just something in the circuit of the sensor so I am going to bypass it using a resistor to test of it still sets it off that way. So does anyone know what the ohms are to the knock sensor wire so I can get a resistor in that size? Thanks

if you are getting verified false knock, you can lower the ECU's sensitivity in the rom. No need to mess with the circuit. You will probably be able to tell by the data logs if the circuit isnt working correctly by logging knock voltage.

Something is wrong with the circuit. It's not picking up knock I'm pretty positive. I've already lowered the sensitivity as far as I could.

Yeah throwing a code but it can't be tuned till I fix this cause it's pulling a lot of timing back when it is set off.

Ok, have you inspected the actual sensor to make sure the connector isn't loose or anything?
