Engine trouble

Hey guys, I'm a new Evo owner, I have a IX RS. While driving on the freeway, my car suddenly wouldn't let me give it gas, I pulled over to the side of the road, sat for a few minutes, turned my car back on, and everything was fine. On my way home, it happened again, but this time when I tried to start my car, it would stall unless I kept my foot on the gas, once I started driving, it was okay. Has this happened to anyone before? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.

Check boost leak and fuel pressure. Did the car throw any code?

Do you have a way to check your fuel pressure?

Yes, but as of right now, my car is running fine, I'm pretty sure i'd have to catch it when it's not working to check it properly.

It's the fuel pump, thanks for the response guys. Just banged my fuel tank with a Mallet, with my car on, it shut my car down. My Dad's idea, he's a 30+ year mechanic.

Marlbro 255, it wasn't the pump that needed replacing, our educated guess is fuel pump relay. Spark plugs are dry, and fuel is not going into the fuel pump.
