AEM Failsafe Gauge install *help*

AEM Failsafe Gauge install *help*

Hey guys so i got the new aem fail safe gauge. I know how to install the gauge it is just the "failsafe" part that i do not get. Its the part when you reach outside the desire afr it will cut the boost. And run wastegate. For anyone running this gauge any help is apprciated thank you.

When running an EBC the idea is to open the EBC or fully close the EBC depending on how you car is configured. Depending on the wiring you might need to hook a relay up to convert a pull to ground to +12.

How is your EBC setup then we can give you a little more insight.

Ok so i would need a electricle boost controller? Because i have a hallman boost controller.

With the stuff that you are talking about yes. You might be able to hook it in to the stock ECU and configure a failsafe. You can also hook it up to a shift light, ignition box, WMI system, any number of options.
