RE71's overheat. They're done after about 150* F. The NT01's on my car run around 190-210...

The goal for the driver is to distribute load on tires as evenly as possible. Therefore keeping the tire temps in check. If the car is pushed in such a way that only the fronts get too hot (usually due to improper apexing the corner), then the car will feel mushy and understeery.
That's only my educated opinion though.

I came from s2ki (s2000) forums, and there are a lot more people on there. But that might be just because there are more s2000 s than evos .... maybe?

what other tires are on the horizon for 2017? i need to get my hands on something for gridlife street mod in april. debating good ol rs3 vs re71...but i have a feeling any day they will both become scarce.

Nah. Had it built for less. AP is cheap until you add shipping LOL. Six-point with diagonal and harness bar fit to my seat/HANS for $1200
