Retuning someones map

I have a 2006 SE that i bought a few months back. supposedly flash tuned

cams dont know which one.
open intake, ams fmic, ucip, licp, megan down pipe, megan o2 housing, test pipe
fuel pump

I have ecuflash and checked the TOON, not very much changed it had like 1 degree advance timing from the stock map in areas that is about it,some fuel adjustements
for idle set at 14.0 on the hi octane map and the afr reads 14.7-15.0 on the aem

logged the car it has knock on decel 18 counts, some knock 5 counts in 5500 rpm area in 3rd gear, im sure its from the odd timing jumps.

Should i reinstall the tephra v7 and start over?
If i start with the base rom are there areas i should adjust prior to trying to log?

I have an aem and jdm map sensor installed

I would just start over with a fresh rom if you are versed in tuning. If you're on a stock map with cams that could be a dangerous situation as well for the motor. If the fuel curve is ideal and fuel trims are good maybe just modify the timing maps to see if you can combat the knock.
