I'm kind of stumped on this one...when driving my 2002 Lancer OZ, when the gears shift I get a hard kick at times. Sometimes it's fine, other times it hits hard and the car drags a bit. I have to literally turn it off, then start it up and it's like nothing happened. Oh it's automatic transmission.

I'm really just looking for any ideas as it is a bit annoying that that is happening. I'd hate for my transmission to go out for not treating this early on.
