Work in Progress!
Well i got this car on my birthday from my cousin and ive been on this site looking at what i could do to my lancer. The first thing i did was take the stock wheels off and put some nice 17's on! Im done talking and hope you enjoy the first mod on the car! Theres more to come in the future!

What do you think of your 17" rims? I'm looking to get rid of my stock 15" rims but am concerned about the wheels/tires being too big for the space. Do they rub against your fenders when you turn? Also, what's your turn radius like?
17's are the right size in my opinion when i turn really hard into the corner it doesn't rub unless i have a really big person in my car. I'm going to lower the car about 2 inches so it will look flush! I can go all the way left and right and it doesn't hit anything. In the end the car looks so good without the stock rims so go for it!
I'm lowered with progress springs and got 16x7 Helium with 205/45/16 on and the front rubs when I'm in a parking lot making slow big angle turns. Just for your reference.

no actually i think your rear fenders should be fine. what size tire are those?
the rubbing you should worry about after dropping is from the front tires rubbing against the wheel well liner when turning.
I've debated about cutting off part of the liner, but have not done so.
