My 02 OZ Rally lancer. Needs lots more work.
So I got something for u guys and I was wondering if u could help me with my issue. I drove to work today about 15 miles, in a down pour of snow. Had no issues with driving besides the idiots that can't drive in the snow. I get to work park my car. I work at a gas station. I pull out of my spot to get gas after cleaning off my car, pull the e brake a couple times and park back in my spot. The time comes for closing, I pull my car closer to the door and keave it running so it'll warm up, I go outside 5 minutes later car wasn't on. I start it back up, thinking someone I knew came up and just turned it off. I start the car and it goes from 1k rpms to 500 and then dies. It just kept doing that. And when I touched the throttle it comepltely dies again. All electronics work the whole time. I was like well imma try one thing before I give up, so I put my stock air intake back on, in place of the k&n typhoon sri I had on. Car immediately starts up and runs perfectly fine... what do u think caused the car not to run with the sri installed? Im absolutely baffled to what the hell it was...

I now have another issue. I tried to put the sri on and take a drive. seemed like it was perfectly fine and then I hit around 3500-4000 rpms and the throttle drops and rpms drop to about 1000 or possibly more rpms.
I haven't fixed the issue. I just threw the stock air intake back on until I can figure out what's happening with the sri.
How would I go about resetting the ecu? And the maf looks fine amd the wires are good. Just when I run the car with the sri I get to a certain rpm the throttle drops and rpms drop.
