I replaced mine with a walker one. Plug n play for around 70 bucks. Fix that, then see if you have the problem with the SRI

Did u have to cut the wires? And the issue with mime is that it's actually basically stuck in the cat. Its a stock cat and semsor. Me and a buddy could not for the life of us bust it loose.

No you dont have to cut the wires. I got it from autopartswarehouse.com but rockauto.com had them too. Is the wrench slipping? I got mine out with a pipe wrench

Yes. And then we tried the special sockets for the o2 sensors and that wouldn't even budge it... I might try something else tho

I would say if you fix that, then you know that's not the problem. If o2 sensors are sending a bad voltage, it could cause the car to stall

That makes sense. The car still wants to die after I start it but if I Rev it for a little bit it will run fine. But I think it is that o2 sensor that is bad. I will be ordering a new one (walker) off of rock auto for like 44$ tomorrow. so I should get that this upcoming week and then all I have to do is try and busy that old ****ty one loose...

And does anyone know if an evo 8 or 9 maf sensor would fit on my car? Mine has a crack on top from interchanging it so many times and it hitting ****. A member on here is selling one for a decent price and a new one is 150$ at least.. thanks again.

The downstream sensor plugs into a harness located behind/under the shifter console. I don't think an Evo MAF will work without a tune.

Eusgen is correct. Evo 8 MAF will not work without a tune. I got a MAF from a junk yard for about 60 bucks. To get to the plug for the downstream o2, pull the carpet back on the passenger side. If you can get the cat off the car, even if you have to take it off from where it connects to the header you might be better off. Soak the o2 in pb blast and wrench on it outside the car so you can use brute force haha. I had to use a pipe wrench on mine to get it out the 1st time

Damn ok. I figured I couldn't use one. I might check at some of the local yards around here. And ok thanks. It looks like this thing is stuck in there like no other. Prolly never been touched since it came out of the factory. It might take a ton of brute force. Lol.
