My 02 OZ Rally lancer. Needs lots more work.
Lol. Adjusted them a bit was too late to go and get some new lifters, so we adjusted them to get the tap sound down a bit and it worked, slightly. Lol. Needs like 2 new lifters. . They are getting pretty bad.
And I would love some help with that p.o.s. downstream. It's startimg to drive me absolutely insane. Lol. I think imma give up and take it to a shop or just buy a high flow cat lol. That'd fix my issue.

. You are welcome to them if you pay to ship
My buddy works at a reputable local shop amd said this method would either fix or reduce the issue lol. But We pulled the valve cover off, wiggled each lifter to check for the amoint of play each had, 2 of them were slightly bad and you could here them hitting other things when wiggled, so he tightened down each of the bolts on the lifters, put the cover back on, I started the car and the tap was definitely reduced. And I might be interested in them, how much would it b shipped to 63084?
Just got mine off today. I had to take it to my buddy who's a mechanic! What happens is after all that driving the metal kind of fuses to the cat. He took a power blow torch heated it up and kept pulling on it and eventually he got it off and then put the new one in . If you don't want to go that you could buy a new cat and when you put it in put the new sensor in too.
I haven't gotten any pics because I haven't done anything to it besides add some 5000k hids to it. And look at my rocker arms and lifters. Have even spending my money on doc visits and now have to go see an orthopedic for my knee. So trying to save money when I can and fix this terrible tap coming from the engine.
On a side note, does anyone know where I can get a good set of engine mounts? I have a bad one and the others I believe are close to being bad, so we decided to possibly just change them all while I'm at it.
