My 02 OZ Rally lancer. Needs lots more work.
Also one more question haha . When I'm accelerating on the highway as I push my foot down it starts accelerating but once I reach a certain point it like jumps and then suddenly it's like I'm flooring the car.
I'm only running a K&N intake with catback . Do I need to clean my MAF

This is the only pic I got as of lately, this cold weather has put modification efforts to a halt amd the small things that need to be fixed throughout the damn car. Plus I had to get new tires. But here are some pics of the car.

Headlights are 5000k hids. Love the hids so much more than the h7 bulbs that were in there. Lots more gain in field of view and everything.

Honestly I have no clue. Went over to a buddy's house (he's a mechanic at a reputable shop here) so we could replace the o2 sensor. Told him my engine was still ticking even after I replaced my lifters. He listened to it and found out that the ticking seems to be com Ing from near the headers area in the engine. .. so most likely a valve... so now I have to decode if I wanna sell the car, trade the car, drop a new engine in it or what. .. I really don't wanna see this car go, I absolutely love this thing, but idk what imma do yet...
Sorry to hear about your luck lately
If a bent valve is the case but the pistons look good then you can source a head from a junkyard, got my mirage head (which is the same as a lancer 'cept for the cam) for $125. But you will need headbolts/studs, head gasket, and exhaust gasket at minimum to do this job. Probably get the intake mani gasket as well.
The timing will also need to be done.
