I would say get the headers. Especially, if you're already having issues with the front cat. I bought some for $80 on eBay and they're great. Gives the car some pep and makes it sound real nice.

They are technically dark grey. but yeah I'm thinking about tinting the reflectors and side markers. But I think I might do some blue lugs because imma put a blue lip in the rims some time soon.
Also prolly going to b ordering the headers in the next few days.
And thank you guys. I love the feedback.
And JaMRxHanzoxOZ I can't wait to see your page.

Quick question.. On the pictures of the rear driver side flap, does the rear lip get in the way of the flap and push it forward awkwardly? That happened to mine..

It happens to mine too and mines base model which has no lip. It's because of the way the fender wells are formed. Mine have to bend into the fender well so it'll sit flush.

Yeah it has the awkward bend in it. But I am not terribly concerned with it because these were a cheap hard plastic set. When I get around to getting the actual rubber/urethane/whatever ones I will b more concerned but as of right now I like it.

Quick side note, I have insult decided to order the 4-2-1 headers off eBay. Can't wait till it comes in so I can put it on the car.

Hey guys. Been away for awhile. Finally got time to work on the lancer and do some needed modification and just plain up keep on the car. First I had to Change the front pads and rotors. Then te spark plugs and and air filter. Then to the more fun part, the mods.
Since I had the tires off. I decided to re plasti dip the rims. I went with black those time. Loving it more than my charcoal.
Then while I had the plasti dip out I decided to do a chunk of my front bumper to see how it would look. I love it.

Then after we got that done I had bought some fog lights. I put on one set of fogs and I love them. Gonna put on two more hopefully this weekend. Put them right on the black part I had plasti dipped on my bumper.
I am putting my 4-2-1 headers on tomorrow. I can't get any wip pics of that because ill b at school while my dad works on the header. But here is a pic of it after I got it in the mail.

Got the header on. There isn't a huge difference. But I can hear a slight different tone. Andalusia the car feel a bit more responsive. I love it. Was a good mod.

So I had time this weekend to do a little more work to the lancer. Isn't much but I'm really liking what I did. I installed a second set of fogs on the car and then plasti dipped my grille black. I like the look of the grille. A lot better than the chrome I think. Before the plasti dip grille.
After taking the grille off..
The grille before I put it back on the car after plasti dipping it.
And now the final image.
