HOW TO: SS clutch line install and bleeding

Hey,

I was fooling arround in the EVO how to's and I found this great link.
http://www.evomoto.com/tech_info.php?tPath=2&tech_id=17
I just ordered the RRM ss clutch line and I was desperately trying to find out what I had to do to get this done. Well, here it is. Its for the EVO, but if you look closely at your RALLIART its the same setup. I will let you know how it went as soon as I get the SS clutch line. ITs on the way

Only difference in the setup is the resistor they speak of. The RA resistor is not inside the clutch master cylinder but it is a seperate unit in between the clutch master cylinder and the hard line you connect the new SS line to. Just have to get some hard line and bypass it all together.I installed mine last weekend and it was a gravy job. Have fun getting the banjo bolt back on (get your chicks little hands in there and save the headache).

Can you see your clutchline from the top of the engine bay or would you need to get under your car to see it??

from the top. I never went under the car other than chasing a bolt or washer.

RalliartCA,

did the s line come with instructions from RRM? When I ordered it the guy on the phone had no clue and told me to ask Gabe, I pretty well know what to do to install, but I was wondering about how to get the restrictor out. can you give me a quick heads up.

thanks

Not to revive an old thread but.....

I'm intressted in RRM clutch line, but I was surfing around on the forums here and I came across this.... https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=105747

Will the RA's run into the problems that the evo guys are talking about?

No, we don't have a transfer case because we don't have AWD. It might be a little harder on the tranny, but nothing to worry about.
