I'm a Math Major...lol

.020 cm = .20 mm

Hey, rory, when will you have the vids posted? I'm anxious to watch them cause I wanna do my valve lash, but I can't afford a new motor, so I can't afford to make any mistakes.

oh...millimeters...lol usually if you don't use units, one would assume the measurement is in thousandths of an inch...you rarely see it written as .030"

and thanks for the conversion from centimeters to millimeters, i hope that's a joke...

My bad guys on the units mess up. I was going off of what I read on the feeler guage. Side note on that it was way easy just to bend the particular feelers I was using and slide them in to adjust each valves lash. Videos are not gonna be easy youtube doesn't like me right now and idk y and I can't have everyone friend me on facebook. Actually try this link for the after video I just set the video to public. http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=...f&notif_t=like.

Here is the before:

I will try and get one up after I get the exhaust motor mount and timing done. I think I should feel pretty good at that point. PM me if the videos don't work I can email to you

Vids don't seem to work for me rory...

Thanks for the pics though Myszkewicz...superb. You wouldn't happen to have a picture of the pulley and timing mark lined up at TDC on your server would you?

U can also just see if the rockers rock back and forth. if they do, adjust and move on to the next. The timing mark isnt necessary.

K, here's what you do: put it back together and have someone that knows what he or she is doing do it for you. If you take it apart and you have got no clue whats going on and following the maintenance manual instructions is confusing you, STOP! lol

Lol it isn't that bad I exaggerated, I can't rock cylinder two. Meaning the intak and exhaust rockers rock. But I can't get the gap to put the feeler in

Victory is Mine

WOW !!! I did my valve lash last night. It's the greatest thing since sliced bread I tell you. I don't even feel like I'm driving MY car anymore. Idle is down around 500-600, throttle response increased and air seems to flow better through the whole system.

I have never done the valve lash before and I am at 104K miles, (bought it at 65K) but now I know the secret to your car living forever

Thanks for all the help and input.
