How to: adjust valve lash
Use the feeler gauge to see if the intake is at 0.20 and the exhaust at 0.30 , if it's not then adjust them. There will always be a ticking noise though (fuel injectors)

it's not too bad...
make sure the transmission is in neutral, you WILL need to crank the motor manually to set TDC for certain cylinders depending on which set of valves you are measuring the lash...

. sounds difficult and this is the first car ive ever done anything too. its only my second car.
I've done it 3 or 4 times now... enjoy the burnt hands.
Is this worth getting to do our valves - would it make things easier?

fyi, Partsource sells it for $20! I checked on Saturday, they only had a 12 mm so they're ordering in a 10mm for me this week. It's not the "made in USA" (Schley) I would prefer but it should never break anyway, the stress on this tool is minimal.
