CF hood Torque specs

Hello Boys & girls! Today I got my Cerious CF hood! I want to install it ASAP....but I don't have the torque specs for the hood bolts. Does anyone have this info? Thanks!!!

sorry dont know but i bet most of these people dont torque anything down....like there rims after they paint the calipers, and yes they have to be torqued down.

i painted my rims long long ago and didnt torque the lugs. Runnin fine.

My manual says 98 IN-LBS. Not to be confused with FT-LBS.

i dont think you have to torque it down. i dont think you would need to. my shop just hand tighten mine with a wrench

He asked for the torque spec, not what you think.








I'd just hand-tighten them with a wrench, too, but if he wants to torque them, that's up to him...

Thanks Myszkewicz!

Thats +/- about 11 newton-meter...

I got to wash the sportback tomorrow...go and get some misc stuff and then install it later. And before friday I will install my new rota rims w/G-force tires....so I will post some pics in the weekend!


If you wonder why I asked for the Torque specs: I work as a Manager/Mechanic at a Bicycle shop and I torque almost all the nuts and bolts to factory specs when I got the specs on hand (most of the bikes are top end items...$2k-12k Road & MTB bikes...and this kind of customers are really piky about their rides). It is most for security and peace of mind.
