There should be a tab on it that you either need to push down or lift up (I can't remember which it was), then pull the two halves apart. Try pushing down first, otherwise you may break the tab off.

Myszkewicz, it seems you need to push it down but I'm still having trouble with it. how much do i need to push it because it barely moved and doesnt seem like it wants to go any further. plus should it even be hard to do? and how much force is needed. this dam harness is the only thing left from removing the front bumper completely! this is so stressful!

Shouldn't need to push it very far, nor pull very hard on the plug. I'm trying to find a good pic of the plug now.

That wiring harness took a while. It wasn't as easy as copying the original piece and flipping it around to make the other half.
