I have absolutely no idea. I want to say no, though, because the 08's don't have the oil controlled rocker profiles. You could figure it out fairly quickly, though, with a multimeter.

You need a relay that will turn on when no power is presented to the switch circuit. Most relays do the opposite.

Case fans run on 12V DC, or you can get a little less cooling and a LOT less noise by hooking them up between the red and yellow wires, which will give them 7V DC.

Or you can ditch the fans entirely and go watercooled like I did.

Uh, back on topic... Any 5-pin relay that has a normally-open pin and normally closed pin will work. Hook it up one way, the light will come on when MIVEC engages. Hook up the other way for the opposite result.

I never found a relay that didn't start buzzing on me, though I haven't really looked that hard, either. The light hasn't been hooked up for awhile because of this.

As for the right relay, just walk into a radio shack and look into their 12v relay bin. You want a relay that gives you the option to have it turn on either with or without power (it'll have 5 pins). They'll have many for you to choose from.

People who work there are idiots and they're trained to sell phones, not electrical components. There's nothing to really take a picture of, it's a relay with 5 pins. It won't be attached to a circuit board like the one in my picture.

otter is right radioshack ppl are dumb, but like i said the GP Sorenson relay MR78 or 76 depending if u want a bracket on it or not these do have 5 connectors but i tryed it i dont think it works but i think its the right kind ill try it again tomarrow.

You can find them at Advanced auto or, auto zone or what ever auto parts store u have around you they can cross the relay number

I'm not sure what's going on with how you set yours up, but I'd disconnect your relay and return everything to stock to make sure something isn't wrong with your oil control valve.
