MIVEC Light
did that, back to norm but as i messaged you, thats where were at, i know i didnt hook anything up wrong its just not working now. i found the pink/ black under the hood it all seems fine and i pulled it out all seems well.
Alright I'm bumping the topic for my first post !
I'm wondering if it would be possible to put an LED with 2 colors. If the lights are on and not MIVEC, the LED is red and if the MIVEC is on, LED turns green. I'd put this in the back of the "LANCER" sign, like otter did.
Is it possible to hook this up ? I didn't check the circuits yet.
Thanks !!

you would need to develop a circuit to do it for you, but it is very possible.
thanks for taking the time to look around and bump threads rather than starting a bunch of crap threads no one wants to read
if you need any help, just let me know(as long as you've searched first
)

2 relays and two light assemblies. One relay turns on a light when there's no power applied to it, and the other relay turns on the other light when power is applied to it. Shouldn't be hard.
it would be a gp sorenson, or MR78, this has both featurs on the relay, be very carful wile doing this, one mistake and by by mivec, i was doing this and somewere along the line somthing crossed and blue smoke commith lol and it looks like this.

yeah, that was awesome
I fried my etacs ecu messing with leds I put under my seats. I had wired them in to dim with the dome light, but was working on them with the battery connected at one point and the wires brushed against each other
bye bye ecu. oh, and warranty FTW

I'll go to my electric local store and get some infos this weekend. I'm not an electrician but I would like to learn, could be useful.
