No ... Their previous posts are wrong/misinformation all of the 4g69 motors use the same size TB ...

No, that is the same 4g69 engine we have. The only upgrade from an Eclipse you can get is a 06 and up GT which would have the 65mm TB.

That's what I thought, but I just wanted to clarify. Thanks for the reply! It's much appreciated!

From what I gathered, these for sure.
(63mm TBs)
2003–present Mitsubishi Pajero (aka Montero/Shogun) (63mm)
2004–present Mitsubishi Endeavor (63mm)
2005–2008 Mitsubishi 380 (63mm)

65mm TBs
2004–2009 Mitsubishi Galant Ralliart (65mm)
2006–present Mitsubishi Eclipse GT (65mm) (MUST BE GT, GS is 60mm like our stock TB)

I'm not entirely sure about the Outlander. Couldn't find enough solid information. Wiki says they came in all sorts of engines *shrug*

I got one from an Endeavor, $80 shipped, loving the response and easier low end breathing. Feels like I put my SRI back on. The hissing sound is pretty cool too, I got a couple videos of it, not sure if it's entirely noticeable on the video though.

The Galant has the 4g69, 6g75 non mivec and 6g75 mivec engines. I believe both 6g75s have the same 65mm tb.

Edit: the non ralliart galant uses the 4g69 60mm tb just like our RA.

so my neighbor gave me a throttle body that is 67mm. it looks like it will fit but the motor looks like it wont fit the connector. is 67mm too big and unnecessary? and can i use my stock TB motor on this new body?

what's the throttle body from? and i don't know why people are so bent on big throttle bodies...i would like to see a same day dyno comparison to see if it even makes a difference...i'm skeptical of this...

Could just be me, but the butt dyno felt something. Even if I didn't gain anything, the sound is still cool LOL

I ended up going back to stock after some time. I kept going lean with the TB no matter what I did.

I know it's weird. But the combination of CAI and larger TB equal p0171. I went over all my lines to look for leaks.....
