Anyone know where I could find a GT TB for a decent price? I checked Mitsubishiparts.net and its $192... I really wouldnt like to pay that much if I can help it.

honestly you could find them in the junkyards for cheaper

I guess I'll have to start searching junkyards. I tried Ebay and nothing on there looks like the stock one from the GT. Everything looks aftermarket, is 70mm, and if a cable operated TB not like the one on our cars at all... :-/

a lot of the wreckers ship parts too, i got a power steering pump with less than 30k for $75

i got mine off car-part for like 110 shipped to me i believe. it was a while ago though

maybe your gasket was damaged or the piping wasnt on right and leaking air in somewhere after the maf?

^^personally i dont know if it fits or not, but unless you're turbo its WAY to big....not to mention as its been said before on here your intake manifold is only 63mm...so ud be wasting an extra 7mm(about 1/4in) of TB....
i personally wouldnt even bother trying...
theres already questions if the 65mm is too big for the ecu to compensate for w/ a reflash/piggyback(from what ive read on here)

just my thoughts..

i know 2011 v6 outlander has a 65mm plate and still bolt to the 4g69 intake

6g75 tb will fit the 4g69. This can be found on galants, eclipses and outlanders. Also, an EVO x tb should fit too. But may need a machine shop to help for a perfect fit. (this is in testing over at club4g.org right now) . You would have to take the motor and plug from your stock tb and swap it into the evo x tb though. They have after market evo tb's up to 75mm I believe.
