Black Window tint line?

Black Window tint line?

I've notice on a few ralliarts, when the back window is tinted, there is like bubles on the very bottom, i never noticed it on other cars...reason maybe?

maybe they didnt slide a credit card over it to get the rest of the bubbles out?

I have that problem too... Its the rear window heater matrix... since the matrix itself is bubbled... then the paper wont glue correctly.. there is no way of correcting this... just take you credit card and stick as much as you can to the window as possible... good luck!!

Actually it does happen on other cars too, my friend's IS300 has the same problem on the sides of the rear window. Nothing to worry about, unless the bubbles start getting bigger and spreading inwards.

it looks ugly...is it possible to remove the matrix? what are the cons of removing it?

^ you probably cant remove it.... and if you do you wont have a defroster / defogger anymore

What you can do to get rid of the bubbles is....get a tiny little pin....real tiny and poke a little hole into a bubble that you cannot get out with a credit card. Pop the bubble in the center and slowly push out the air. Make sure you do it evenly or else its going to get a wrinkle in it and that just sucks.
