Guess im used to the 1.6's tiny exhaust! I guess we didnt really know if this was possible. Much was left down to whether the wiring was the same over the crossovers between new 2.4 wiring and old 1.6 - seems it was mostly all the same.
Heres another vid of it running!

Sounds very much like I'd expect it to with the exhaust you've put on it. The stock exhaust is pretty loud, especially if you're used to a tiny engine that exhales through a drinking straw.
Haha! We threw 4 codes today from reving the engine a bit.
P0446 - Evap Incorrect flow
P0441 - Evap control circuit
P0183 - temp sensor fault (its not connected yet)
And after the ECM learning process we got:
P0000 - No Self-Diagnostic Failures Present

P0441 - Evap control circuit
P0183 - temp sensor fault (its not connected yet)

Congrats on the start!
If your car is idling at 1500 rpm, it may be in limp mode. When my car was put in limp mode earlier this week, it was idling at 1500, and I couldn't rev it past 3000.
EDIT: nevermind, video looked like you were passing 3000.

Nice! Doesn't sound bad/loud to me. Since it threw some codes, it's probably not idling/running as good as it will. Awesome that it started the first "try". With a job as huge as this, it's surprising and impressive you didn't have to iron out any mistakes or oversights.
As for the ticking, I know the 4G69 makes a slight ticking normally, but if it's too loud, make sure you got some oil coming up to the head (should be as easy as peeking into the oil cap opening in the valve cover after running it for a minute.)

"IT LIVES! IT LIVES!
Uhhhh... uh, ho... smoke... "
LMAO!!!
BTW: I think it sounds okay...just a bit louder than mine, so that's about right. I got pulled only once because of the stock sound... maybe you'll get pulled only once or twice a year for yours.
[EDIT: It's still weird to see the throttle cable going to the other side of the engine bay...
What are you going to do with it... it wouldn't be a good thing to let it sit on the engine. I see it's also a bit long because of the shorter distance... ]
