Just the Fuel/Timing MAP.......most importantly, the TIMING MAP.

The...er....EVERY automatic uses MORE timing (advance) than a standard transmision model, ask ANY engine builder or someone who knows a thing or 2...so, the STANDARD MAP will NOT pull enough timing out under boost, causing detonation.....I have witnessed this first hand on a friend's car....BOOM !

Not that being retarded is cool....lol, but I would rater over-retard than run the risk of detonation. Low end torque benefits as well, just leaving a little loss on the top end HP.....not a big deal. Retard to put the power where it counts......in a driveable range, like off idle.

Be careful and get your tune done on a Dyno that can LOAD.....not a DynoJet. More guys have leaned out after a DynoJet tune and detonated than any other dyno because of the way it CAN NOT simulate a REAL world driving condition to give you a proper tune.

Take care and all will be well.

Thanks, Muck

If you do go ahead with this, dont forget to strengthen your gearbox. You could strengthen it with Level 10 or Import Performance Transmission.

Off Topic, but...

What made you decide to drop your project ? Buying a pre-built kit ? or another car ?
