RRM turbo manifold problems

Just wanted to know if anyone else with the RRM turbo kit has had a problem with the manifold cracking on the welds??? I had my kit put on last March and it started cracking by August, and the car had barely been beat on at all. Rob told me there was nothing they could do about it, so i had it fixed. Now it is cracking again but on a different weld. This sucks b/c i spent over 4g's on the kit and it keeps cracking, and now i have to put more money to fix it, and it hasn't even been a full year yet.

First I've heard of this on RRM's manifold (have heard of it on other aftermarket manifolds on other cars, though). Wouldn't hurt to try contacting Rob again. If that doesn't help, then when you have it fixed, I would have the welder beef up all the welds so you don't have to worry about it again.

Tsudo muffler? Is that like a psuedo muffler?

They are quality but tubular manifolds including $1000 EVO manifolds are prone to cracking. I have a cracked Greddy manifold on my EVO right now. We are working on an improved manifold. Unfortunately the shop that made these manifolds and had been in business for years, went out of business in August. Again we are working on getting a stronger one made to help past and new customers on this. As a retrofit thing, we have been telling guys to add a support bracket under the turbo too. THis will help carry the load. Call it a version 1.2 thingy. We are working on it though.
