Thats great, thank you glitv you have been very helpful, I will want to eliminate my 5th injector and go oversized injectors(such as the wrx top feeds) in the future. Simply any 4 top feed injector for the 2.0 wrx is compatible then?

You've opened some eyes on this forum man! I enjoyed reading the thread over and over! Way to be a part of the boost club

BUMP....

2 questions for qlitv

1. You say you are using 720cc injectors from a WRX. what kind/brand did you get? and they are top feed, right?

2. I notice you used the AEM F/IC piggyback to tune your car. I'm using the RRM one and its impossible to tune past 10psi. How easy is tuning that piggyback?

thanks.

The FIC is limited in what it can do. Yes it can allow you to tune more than 10 psi, but it still runs into the open loop/closed loop issues that all the piggybacks do. You can't translate the MAF signal reliably to get a 100% consistent tune either. You might be able to get away with putting the MAF in a larger tube to defeat the stock ECU's too much airflow limp mode problem but I've never tried that.

Im using stock wrx injectos modified by agency power and yes they are top feed.

with the fic you can control the maf map on percent mode and it is easy to tune plus no limp mode

the only problem im encountering is some kind of boost cut, it may be some kind of sensor i have to get rid of or a vacuum line going some were from the manifold but i have to check on that, to lazy to do it now do any of you guys have an idea????

the car is running at 13.4psi 347whp and 311wtq..... but no good with that boost cut thing or what ever it is

hey ralliart on lsd if you don't have a fuel return system you may want to consider it cuz a fuel pressure regulator (a 1 to 1) is very help full to tune
