I can't believe that i have missed this whole topic,,, and after an hours worth of reading of it and many more hours/days of reading throu other topics from this forum and others I have finally found what I need...

So you have just confirmed with me that the Eagle Evo 8 rods the same as the standard Evo8 rods and are a perfect fit in length nad the 87mm Wesco pistons are a perfect fit could I get you to confirm the part number for me the number that I have is K548M87

Loving the work you have done.

"I think"... correct me if I'm wrong please.... anyway I think the engine was hurt before it, cuz I was using nitrous, but things happens for a reason and that was to install some bad***s pistons and rods....

The good news are that I took this opportunity to buy a set of 87mm wiseco pistons and evo eagle rod...

And just one other what compression are they now 8.5 ?

What did you do in the way of head gasket ? did you get one specially made up or just the standard Mitsubishi one?

I see you had a problem with your spark plugs as well I had Irridium in my original setup and when I went into WOT cylinder number one was touching. that plug was pretty much welded close - I am hoping that with my new build that I can not repeat this.

Hey guys/girls i'm new to the forum. I have sourced the turbo kit from RPW. Currently running 9psi on stock internals making 171wkw/264hp give or take, but im looking to completely forge the internals within the next few months. Will be chasing around 400hp. Feel free to leave feedback

That looks and sounds promising, but I think you should start your own thread instead of just adding to this one, to get more interest. And add some more info and more pics IMO

400hp is quite ambitious for a front wheel drive, do you have an LSD, or plan on getting one? Also the clutch you'll need to hold on to that kind of power will be quite a clutch indeed, hope you don't have to drive in bumper to bumper traffic, lol

I'm very interested to see more, and what kinda of turbo do they use for their kits?
