Psssst. Base map, don't boost it too much! Although it's some very educated guesses there really is no way to tune a car without seeing it! Oh well, got a 4G69 for sale. Interested?

It's great to see this project coming together. I like the basic principles behind it: make it cheap, drivable, and decent build quality.

The reflash looks super promising. I wish I had a reason to need one.

your engine bay looks like mine..except mine has NO mods whatsoever lol..gotta clean mine up too..any suggestions on how to clean? i've read about hosing it down with water but i don't want to get water into my electrical and other parts that can't be watered down i'm scared to spray it lol..i also read about using gunk or any degreaser and hand washing it but i can't even fit my hand through the bay to touch my clutch cables lol..this sucks

but yeah anyways..good job man! i'm happy for you! wish i could do these things myself too..would save me so much money instead of going to shops..i'm gonna build up my knowledge on cars and i'll be modding my own RA in no time see ya on the dirt track bro!!!

Mike, i just threw a code today, EGR flow insufficient...convenient time to happen, cause i don't know if the EGR valve took a ****, or if it's something to do with the boost...

As for as boosting, at WOT it hits 7psi on the gauge and stays there, AFR is like 10.9...it's working very well...i would like to monitor knock...i've been checking the support forum regularly...

you find it hard getting your hands in there to wipe something down? try installing a turbo, LOL! it's so so tight in there...if i have to change my clutch slave cylinder, or starter i'll have to take the turbo and manifold out...

@cranswick: LOL! yeah i know what you're saying man..not that i know how to do any of those things that you mentioned but yeah i get it..at least i have a good idea of where the clutch slave cylinder and starter is so yeah man! i can't wait to see more videos and photos of your ride..i gotta come down and have a beer with you (i don't drink but i'll make an exception) so we can take a look at mine lol..my RA drives amazing and the engine sounds so sexy when i take off and when i go around 3500 - 4500 rpm..i wanna make my car as good as new as possible..take out the rust and replace anything that needs replacing..someday my dreams will come true someday..

Not to seal your thunder but a FYI Hack finished my tune last night, so he is ready when you are.

I know Brent...i haven't been driving the **** out of her, i only did a couple WOT pulls for the video i made, and one more when i first got it running, and the AFR's were good...the thing spools so quick i've been boosting 4-5psi at 50% throttle, and it pulls nice, even then...i have been going easy on it, don't worry...i have a little bit of self control...

am i the only custom turbo lancer using uvtune? I already gave Mike lots of feedback...did he tell you what i did? it's funny, i felt like an idiot...

I appreciate all the feedback. I've lost count of how many custom tunes I've done on boosted Lancers now. Several supercharged, several turbo including custom kits, RRM kits and the TurboKits.com kit. If I had to guess this is probably #7 or #8.

It sounds like the fuel is right where it needs to be but I've got no idea what the knock count is going to be like with that turbo setup. I should have datalogging added soon so you can log all of that.

When i get paid again i'll come see you Mike...this pay finished off the kit, and paid for the base tune...that pretty much raped my "play money", cause i bought a rear sway bar as well...
