Road race downpipe and CAI
Road race downpipe and CAI
I ran a 10.4 in the 1/8th with the RRM exhaust full gas spare and a system..I just ordered the downpipe and cold air intake from RRM. If i take out the system and tire and add the downpipe and intake i'd be hitting the 9's? Also, if anyone has the downpipe and CAI can you feel a big difference in the acceleration???
yea i did ask that question a few minutes ago..it was on the show and shine so i decided to repost it where the n/a drivetrain section is..sorry..i did 10.416 w/ a 2.5sec 60 ft
i beat a z28 and a gt stang so im not really complaining about my times =D...i was launching right around 2500 rpms..i got a lot of tire squeel and it took a bit to catch traction..that was with the stock tire pressure...if i put it to 24 psi would it reduce that?
yea, running lower pressure let the tires give more and grab faster. may hurt ur ET mph a but, but a better launch helps more than wall height =) try feathering the clutch out a bit slower, too.
ps, ive beat mustang v6's (NOT GT!) and z28s on the 1/4. gt's kill me after the 1/8 tho =( for now, at least

well the GT claims to have 450ish n/a which is BS so i told him put up or shut up...he made an excuse like...i couldnt get traction (i almost stalled out first gear btw) so its pretty even..i had no traction till second and neither did he..the z28 i dont know what happened..i thought he would be like 2 cars ahead..the kid in the z28 just couldnt drive i guess..
