Have had the anti-foulers on my car for about 6000 miles and no CEL yet.

First off. Antifouler do seem to work on removing CEL.
Second, If your state emission laws are an issue, you can remove it in about 30 minutes.
Third, If you are planning on turbo soon, don't buy it. It would be a waste. If it will be a while before you turbo, buy it, you can alway resell it later when you turbo goes in.

Don't worry. Your o2 sensor is not dead.

You need an eliminator, not a simulator.

Spark plug in your exhaust tip, or a flamethrower kit. You can probably find one at Summit Racing or Jegs or someplace like that.

Hey all,

As always I have some simple, and probably stupid questions. I've tried to piece together what I can using the search but I'm still slightly unclear on some things related to this dp, or a header/dp combo. People have suggested that getting a high-flow cat would be the way to go if you get the dp, and that it's really loud with no cat. Please forgive the ignorance, but am I to assume then, that you cannot get the dp and just attach it back to your stock cat, and say just then go with a cat or axel back exhaust to tame down the noise? Is what I'm asking a little silly in the first place because the stock cats would hamper performance? The reason I ask, is ideally I would purchase either this dp or the header/dp combo that has been mentioned to be on the horizon, and then just rig it back to the stock exhaust. My understanding is that the rest of our exhaust system is quiet sufficient, and I would rather not replace it all if its not necessary. Thanks again for all the feedback.

There are 4 parts to your exhaust.

Exhaust manifold.- It is pretty good, stock.
Downpipe- very ineffiecient stock
Catback section- pretty good stock
Muffler(axelback)- pretty restrictive.
