Is this the same fix that comes with the "newer downpipes". When the CEL does go off can't you just unplug the battery and it should be gone?

This is with using spark plug anti-foulers, but RRM's is the same concept. Yeah, you can just disconnect the battery to reset it, however, I like to keep my radio presets, so I had autozone reset it for me.

well i bought mine on sat and got it installed today..... LOUD! -lol- yes all of you know already, but damn its loud! -lol- im doin that slowly increase speed thingy where i shift at like 2500 RPMs. i felt a little loss in low end torque drivability... but when you mash on the peddal.... this thing is great! my current mods are Injen intake, joe pully, P&P IM from RRM, Custom axleback, and the new DP... all in all i say its a great product! if ur looking for N/A power and dont mind the noise i suggest you get this if you havnt already!

Now RRM needs to sell a resonator or high flow cat of some sort to drown out some of that sound. I guarantee they would sell like hot cakes.

I love doing that, gets me all kinds of nasty looks

Agreed with Starlite, the gain in power outweights the increase in noise, well worth it.

Muffler shop can add a resonator for cheap in your catback section. Power, power, power though. Thanks For the review. For the money it gives about the most peak power for the dollar.

But how many resonators are you gonna have to add onto it to make it sound somewhat reasonable?

Most guys I have read left the stock one and added one to catback section. There is a long straight area of pipe where a good sized resonator can be added. People have reported that is quieted down quite a bit.

How much should it cost approximately to have a resonator installed? Because i REALLY wanna get this, but after hearing it, it strayed me away. I want it to be as quiet as possible.

Another viable option is to remove the stock resonator, and replace it with a much longer and higher quality one (like a 24" magnaflow). Never heard it, though.
