just take it out and put your stock one back if something happens.

This should not affect your warranty. It only lightens the stock engine rotating assembly. It is not like removing the cat, or defeating emissions. Most dealers would probably never even notice that it is there. I will remove the pulley tonight and have my girl ship it out tommorow.

As far as installation it should take around an hour. I will make a really good how-to with pictures and good explanations. I want to make sure nobody gets stuck on this. I also want to make sure that the part is high quaility and that there is actual gains. I will install this on the spot once we get it and report about drivability first, then I will find a dyno within this month and hopefully have a positive report about back to back dyno runs. Just a reminder this is my girl's car so if I am slacking a little bit you have to understand she is so-so about this moding thing and I custom built her intake and catback so any dyno runs must consider those also. I am sure gains would be similar without CB/Intake either way.

I also forgot to add that this pulley is like the EVO where it uses 4 bolts to hold it to the crank. It is not a single bolt system like the 420A eclipse or the 2.0 Lancer Engine.

I will keep everyone posted. I would like everyone to make a list. Add to one below:

1. Joe's_EVO8 (Pulley and Belt)
2. tuffguy (pulley and belt)
3. AdamRA (pulley and belt)
4. blk-majik (pulley and belt)
5. Blkralliart04 (pulley and belt)
6. ErikT (pulley and belt)
7. PR_Mivec (pulley and belt)
8. turck26 (pulley and belt)
9. reimundo (pulley and belt)
10. xhotru (pulley and belt)
11. Ralliart2004 (pulley and belt)

I'm in. Do some testing, get a Dyno....and if possible can someone explain in plain terms what the side effects are for people using this product that DO have a high power drawing stereo.

BTW, I really hope the belt that we are using is a Gates belt, those are by far the best out there.

not to burst the bubble..

you guys DO know ... http://www.team3s.com/FAQudp.htm

why the stock pulley is so heavy? it's the harmonic damper..

the aftermarket underdrive one won't have it.. sooner or later you will vibrate enough that the entire crank will be messed up and good bye engine

when i first saw the thread, i thought you guys mean underdrive A/C and alternator pulley.. if you make THOSE, i will take a set.. no way i am going to risk engine damage with a crank pulley

also remember there is no way for a machine shop to guarantee that the pulley will be perfectly balanced..

^^ true it is....
i know that on mustangs you can change the balancer from pulley to pulley let us hope this works here... is a gamble after all...
in my case 100 isnt much of a gamble or at least a try....

does the evo, the 3000 gt, or a civic have an harmonic balancer?

Actually think I will have to back out for the time being, shouldn't be throwing money around right now.
