indeed they are but the mivec/vtec controlers out there.. so far are 'hoax' <--did i wrote that well?

the vast amount of times those things are meant to use a honda ecu.... so far i havent found one that 'works' for our car... that is, so far...

And I think that was hoaxes (when there's more than one), but you were very close. Ah, we non-english people and our constant struggle to get the language right! The guys on here bare with us most of the time though...

the problem is that both VTEC and MIVEC have evolved over the years, now they need more inputs (like oil pressure, etc) and the older VTEC / MIVEC controller don't work with them

i am doing my best to find one and scream it here.. but please if someone find it first scream also...

 

i find that our mivec, as of today, is like the old vtec.. quite simple but dificult to control.... lets keep hunting for it.... of making it
