What to buy for performance

I'm looking to upgrade the performance of my ralliart.

Then again I know that I need to go with intake, exhaust.

What would you suggest for intake? AEM or Injen. I know it's the same but wich one is better quality?

Also for the exhaust what do you suggest me? I've saw that Dc sports make ones but at 825$ canadian it's really not cheap. It's a catback single canister. The guy told me that I would yeld around 6 more hp from that catback.

Also what else can I put to upgrade the performance short from a turbo. I don't want also to change clutch or flyweel.

I'm looking to get around 20-30 hp if that's possible.

I know that RRM makes part but if I can buy locally from different manufacturers that would help.

If not then I could pass an order to RRM.

So what do you suggested me. That I will be really help full and yes I have searched for answer to my questions.

What I really want is opinions from somebody that have the parts on their cars.

Thanks for the input guy's.

I say go in this order:

1. AEM CAI, RRM CAI, or Injen (personally I don't think it matters which one)
2. Axle-back (or have a local shop weld on a Magnaflow for you)
3. RRM downpipe (be ready to have a local shop weld a resonator on for you!!!)
4. RRM intake manifold
5. RRM piggy-back

I think all this will give you about 25-30HP. I don't think I'd bother with the cat back, because our stock pipe is plenty big enough (unless you plan to go stage 1 turbo or higher).

Total is about $1800 USD.

The only thing I'm missing from this list is the IM. I want to get it soon, then I'll dyno it just for peace of mind!!!

Thanks for the answer.

So for the catback I shouldn't go with the DC sports because it doesn't do much difference.

I should go with a Magnaflow cheaper ant weld it to the stock piping. An axleback is after the cat or does it replace it??

Downpipe the only thing is sound and it might throw a cel. So i'm not sure about this one. Did you have a cel?

So do you see a big difference in acceleration from those parts?

Do you know wich magnaflow muffler RRM is using on their axleback? Wich number model.

Thanks again for the reply..

Magnaflow is a good buy. Thats what i have. The downpipe coupled with the Magnaflow has a sound thats bearable, but i think the gains are worth the noise. I noticed a good ammount of low and mid range power from my downpipe. And as for the CEL, there is a CEL Fix just for the downpipe that costs about 25 bux and works! I used the fix and have yet to throw the CEL.

RRM is just using a magnaflow muffler with a polished tip. You can see them http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/s...ne=main&id=350 here. The mufflers are basicly the same but just have different offsets. Im personally using the Magnaflow stainless steel race series muffler w/3.5 inlet/outlet part number 14160. http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/02race.asp I really like it and think its well worth the buy!
