Don't worry we will certainly be keeping you informed on everything that goes on and nothing will be left out... at the moment I am driving car around and having a blast with it.... just waiting on headers to be returned to RPW then it will be going on along with other stuff this should happen in the next week - but again don't worry I have not forgotten you and I will post up everything as I love to brag about the performance of my car
just got done reading this thread for the second time today, im liking what i am seeing but one quick question. I checked the web page and the shifter isnt on it yet so how do i get one lol dont need the 75% as i seen it will be held for specail customers but would like a 65% throw ect. are they in production yet? thanks and keep up the work.
<----- not while working on the upgrades though lol

I'm sure if you check with Dave at Accolade he should be able to help you out with getting one of these shifters from RPW - he sounds like a pretty switched on guy and he knows all about the work happening to the car.... but they are an amazing thing to use the reduction in side ways and back n forth movement is incrediable.... when you use it you really do think of yourself driving some euro styled race car it just gives that sort of feel..... and whats wrong with mixing beer with work... we just celebrated Australia Day yesterday so there was no better time than that to combine the two... lol
www.accoladesportparts.com or email him on david@accoladesportparts.com and if he can't help out then RPW directly davidt@iinet.net.au

I have absolutely nothing to do with either company at any level... so as far as pricing goes I have no idea this will have to be something that you will have to ask... sorry can't help out with that

It has been a while since I posted anything up on this thread so here goes the first lot of RPW Headers were fitted up to the car on friday the 17th March after many delays and many prototypes were made we have finally got ourselves some very very nice headers that perform incrediably well.
The power/torque is amazing it starts the moment that you put your foot down the car lurches forward unrelenting slap it into second and the car just keeps on going no hesitation or slowing down reaching for third more of the same and before you know it you have to go into fourth otherwise you will be bouncing off the valves and hitting the rev limiter....
Many people have said that the stock headers that come with these cars is adequate - well itis of my opinon that they are not were near being adequate they are small flat tubes... yes that is right they are not event round they are a total of 12inches long each were they all join up to a cat convertor which is made up as a single unit....
The RPW Race design Headers: again people have said that it is too hard and can not be done.... well I think people making those sort of remarks are great because I know that nothing pleases RPW more than trying to prove that it can be done and it has been done and very well too... there design is awesome it has 4 mandrel bent pipes that are of equal length and do not join together until they are well and truely under the engine of the car... it is with this design that gives it the torque that these cars starve and crave for....
Results: with a full RPW exhaust system we were able to shave off .250 of a second off track times... whilst this may seem a bit ordinary, and I agree it is ordinary I was unable to do a 3rd race due to track time permitting but I am very confident in stating that if I was able to do another run I would of launched harder at 2500rpm which would of given me approx a total of .400 off.
The RPW full race design exhaust is the only performance mod that has been done to the car there is no CAI or any other mod done to this stock car
The car goes back to them sunday for the next lot of work ... stay tuned for more exciting results

I relize you are busy with performance mods (engine) but when is that shifer going to be out for sale?? Im looking forward to that for sure! I havent made up my mind yet wich way im going with the headers but for sure Ill be getting the cam ect that no one has out!
all im looking for is a dyno......thats great that you hit 2/tenths of a second off the 1/4mile that means you really feel it. by the way did you mention that you have a cat on your headers/downpipe? or is it catless? if its catless than you would get more than 2/tenths of a second off right? would there be any loss cause of no back pressure?

Silversleeper: chheck with Accolade motorsports divission as they will be the ones to get the rally short shifter...
Speed demon I believe that RPW have just posted up a dyno sheet with the results of one of the new Headers - there is another type that they will be testing out later this week early next week , the Australian verssion of the RA has 2 cats 1 is in the actual headers themselves and the other is in the usual location under the car... the headers that RPW have made does not have a cat in the header like the stock ones do so my car now only runs with 1 cat which is under the car... as for feeling the difference yes the car revs that bit longer and torque is a lot sooner and more responsive than before, unfortunately I really wish that I could of gotten another run in mainly to prove that the car was capeable of a 15.5 which I am very confident it would of gotten - I'm just sorry that I am not as good a driver as I should be and be able to get into a car and pull the times straight out first time every time...

RPW are still getting the other mods done to the car so I would guess that they are not too far off in the near future... as to a firm date that I don't know and can't give you - sorry
I forgot to add to this thread about the second set of larger diameter headers that was fitted to the car late last week - the dyno result has not yet been given to me yet but I can say that in the lower rpm it was very sluggish but in the upper rpm it was very good - please keep in mind that no other mods have been done to the car apart from a full exhast of 21/2" no intake nothing ... my bog stock time was 16.2 @ 137klm with the first and smaller header the cars track time was 15.7 @140klm and the bigger header gave me a 15.5 with 144klm
The car is the process of getting the Haltech tuned to it once that is done then we can move onto some of the more exciting stuff like cam - intake then turbos
p.s thanks for finding this thread I thought I had lost it
