Yes for the first time which more than likely accounts for the reason why the USA vehicles have a higher output than our australian equivelents is that we have te equiv of Cali Spec emmissions, and yoru USA vehicles have Fed Spec emmissions. WHich is normally the reverse.

Might be able to screw a plug in there? Otherwise they might be able to just weld it closed. I started thinking that maybe PRMIVEC might have installed this header downpipe on his 04 ? Maybe someone can PM him.... I have to get back to work
Well, you're right. I just took a look under my car again last night and, sure enough, the O2 bun is located in the beginning of the cat back section. It's ok though, just a minor setback, I'll just have to figure out a way to plug one of them. I'll probably just try to find a bolt with the same thread pattern to see how that works. We'll see how it goes and I'll keep everyone posted.

Mitsiman, How many 02 bung holes will there be? I'm getting a little confused.

Looks like two O2 bungs on their header from this explaination.

You'll just have to plug the O2 bung they have in the Cat, and keep using the existing stock O2 bung on the cat back.

That makes sense now....sometimes I should re-read things before posting

So I think what I will do is just plug the hole that comes on the cat-converter. So that I don't have to extend the wires.

That's exactly what I'm going to do. Take the cat into a harware store so that I can get the right size bolt for it.

to clarify, your vehicles are running one or two O2 sensors?
We will provide a O2 sensor blanking plug with the kit so that you can blank off the one just underneath the sump pan and we will also fit an additional O2 sensor fitting (Undrilled) in front of the cat on the flex pipe. THis way if you want to use that one you can drill it out and then screw your O2 sensor in that location or the one clser to the front of the motor. Neither of the two other people who have fitted the sensors have reported any O2 sensor fitment issues which makes me beleive it must be easily fitting.

Weird - well that pretty much means yuo can use the O2 sensor plug at one of three locations on our systems - which ever is easiest for you then. Reading in approx same position as factory is always recomended though to avoid CEL light issues.

Here is some pictures, I'm thinking that we will need the hole near the sump filled or plugged and another hole before the cat like he said. Have a look anyways.

It does appear as I first thought yes - we will need to add an O2 sensor in front of the flange near the cat converter and leave the one in the cat converter.
Your 1st O2 sensor location is in the same position as our Australian 2nd sensor.

Either way our systems will be updated to represent this.
