It is exactley what you are describing, quiet hum when you are not on it and it sounds great when you are on it. I would recommend it.

I think I'll check out my local muffler shop and see what they have to offer. If they don't have anything worth while, then I'll go with the RRM.
Anyone else have some video or sound clips of the RRM axel back?? I saw it on their site, but it never worked.

The links provided in the sig work, they just take some time to load. I just tested a couple fo them.

Thanks. None of our exhausts burn bumper. They don't even come close to that. Only exhaust I know of that burns paint is Greddy catback for the OZ. As for customer service, call and ask for ROB. We do pretty dam well on customer service but if you had a problem, I would like to hear about it and rectify the issue.
On technical side our axelback and catback for the RA use magnaflow Stainless mufflers (Oval.) They are as quiet and deep sounding as it gets without killing performance.

btw heres the reference to the burnt paint theory...

Thats what I read before that made me think twice. The clips totaly work, just took a while to load like you said k3. Im an idiot. But after watching the movies I think Im going with RRM. That exhaust sounds great. Does anyone have pics of by chance?? I'll look around myself, but I think the axel back is the way to go.
And thanks for the info Rock. I'll take your word on it, and be ordering one soon. What's the deal with the fitment issues on the site? Or is that for the downpipe and not the axelback?

Some RAs came with a 2 bolt flange. Our axelback is for RAs with the 3 bolt flange at the axel connection. Just peak under the rear and look at that before ordering. Our catback fits all RAs.
k3lv you have one of our exhausts and no issues. Have not heard of any issue including that one dude(told him to try stuff and get back to me but never heard back from him) but then if you bolt it in wrong, there are 2 holes to choose from, there is the issue.

for pictures I have some on my cardomain link, or my evoM registry link in my signature.
THe axleback is deep sounding.. I had some friends follow me around and it sounds nothing like a buzzing muffler. I was on the same boat as you are on justin81, wanted a new exhaust setup, read that same thread and asked the same question. I got it, no burns nothing, if u want u can PM me with a request, I'll take pictures of my exhaust and send them to you as of the current state.
edit: yes I forgot to say u must check your pipes and if it has a 3 holes connecting to your current stock exhaust it will fit. It looks like a pyramid
