adjustable Cam gears?

is there any reason no one makes cams for our cars? i guess having adjustables would screw up the mivec right? in which case even a lightweight set would be nice.

see im starting to save to go turbo because it seems its the only way to acheive my goal of beating a stock evo and i would love to do it N/A and without nos but i dont think its possible with the mods that are out.

Cam. Cam gear. Singular.

We can use the same aftermarket cam gear as the 2.4L Eclipses. RPW has a cam out. RRM just came out with one for the 4G94, so one would hope that the 4G69 version isn't far behind.

Do you know who makes the cam gear for the eclipse?

RPW has a stage 1, mild change in the After Mivec profile, before Mivec is the regular setup. They are currently testing the profiles for the next set of changes

Only brand I know of for sure is AEM. I'm sure there are other brands out there.

Is AEMs lightwieght or just adjustable like the RPW is. i read on rpws and it sounds like they take a cam from our car make it adjustable then swap it out for yours.

I don't know enough yet to do much on the adjustments which is why just lightwieghting it would be good for me to start with

RPW links to a currency converter on the upper left hand side of their page.
