I drove it today. Gotta say it seems faster than last time I drove it. It feels a lot more like the RRM Ralliart. THink you will be quite pleased! I wanna put one on our RA now.

it should be crazy fast...... give me a ride some day manny. last time i was in your car Rob was showing us how fast your car and was breaking in your new brakes. i think that was 2 year ago.

 

Not to keep nagging you Rock, but hows the Cam coming? just want to know if its worth me telling my buddy to leave a bay in his shop open for me to put in the cam this weekend or not.

 

Machinist delayed things a little to make sure MIVEC will perform well. It causes more issues for us. This week it is on though. Dude does a lot of VTEC cams so he knows he can get a good Stage 2 cam for us!

No. He had an accident in his car though. That is why he got a new car. But when he had it he was mashing on EVOs.

yeah Rock right it was a pretty bad accident. i was hoping that my car would not be totalled but it was. i was telling Rock back then that i wanted to buy another motor to have it fully built. but my dream came crashing down when they told me my car totalled. you guys are lucky , getting cams and ported and polish heads. i wish they had that back then , i for sure would had that on my ralli. so rock you are going to make N/A cams and turbo cams upgrades?

 

i know their was going to be stage 2and 3 cams, maybe not 1 though. as for the head back a page or 2 he describes it, but to sum its port polish and rebuild.

Oh and rock, SWEET! cant wait to see that shipping # in my email. rather wait another week and know this thing will get the job done.

first off i want to say that i am very pleased with all the work rrm did to my car while putting in the cylinder head. thanks rob and thanks to everyone else who helped.

now to the review

hp-i'm obviously not sure how much hp i gained because i haven't dyno'd for a long time. the power is there. it is enough power to notice a big difference. the best way to explain it imo is that it feels like the turbo is always on. there is virtually no response lag to the car. the second i put my foot on the gas it starts moving fast. i also noticed that 5th gear is very strong now. it picks up very quickly. another cool thing about it was doing 3rd gear pulls from like 2k rpm. usually u notice a lag and it crawls up until u get about 3.5k rpms. with this thing it moves a lot faster. its almost like being at 3k the whole power band. at any given point.

sounds.. hmm dunno if it was supposed to sound different but i noticed that the engine is really quiet at idle. i have the motormounts so i expected my car to shake, but after i got this it shakes a little less which was cool. when i mash the gas it kinda sounds like a jet taking off. its kinda neat.

looks. theres not much to see because its all internal. but the outside looks very clean.

im not sure if this was the best review ever, but these are just my observations after driving and testing the car for 3 days. if you got the cash i would say go for it. you will love the way the car runs and feels with this mod.

overall im very satisfied with the parts. it cost a good chunk of change but it is worth it. especially when i see fast cars in the rear view mirror with the :O look on the drivers face.
